question: what are these catchy little phrases by our names? like "typical" or "pen in your hands"?

The little phrase things are basically a "title" based off of how many posts you have. When I was putting the board together, they were really boring and generic, so I made them WTL-themed and adjusted the numbers a little..
The whole list is:
0-30 = typical 30-75 = pen in your hands 75-150 = 75 and 17 150-250 = mercury rising 250 to 500 = across the atlantic 500 (and up) = heights of the heavens
We've got a ways to go I suppose, haha. I could always adjust numbers again somewhere down the line if we're not getting anywhere.

I found out the origin of "yumba." Monica came up with it. It says so on her Facebook, and we had a little chat about it on our walls.

Karma is the idea that what you sends out comes back to you. It is the idea that if you are good to other people, things will be good. But if you are nasty to other people, it will come back and bite you in the ass.

karma.... dogma? i don't even know what dogma means. but i hear the two used often in succession. Dogma refers to the ideas and beliefs within a certain religion. For example, there's Christian dogma, and Buddhist dogma, and Islamic dogma. You get the point. The movie "Dogma" pokes fun at, while also making you think about, Christian dogma. Karma is more something that expands many different religions. Lots of religions believe in the idea of karma. Karma can be a dogma of a religion, though, I guess. It is a pretty big one in Buddhism, I believe. It's why they try not to harm a single living thing, even something small and otherwise unwelcome such as spiders and other bugs.
