Ditto on Cavashawn. They blew us away last night. So good.

Yeah. Once Cavashawn was scheduled with WTL on the 4th in Madison, I looked into them on MySpace and have really enjoyed their music. I'm excited to see them, just about as much as I am WTL. Okay, well, maybe not that much. But I'm pretty excited to be seeing both bands.

Lifehouse and the Goo Goo Dolls will probably be indefinitely tied for number one on my list. I'm crazy about them. But I really like having things in sets of three, and I have high hopes for WTL getting that spot. Otherwise, Matchbox 20, Billy Joel, the Fray, Snow Patrol, Dispatch... But my taste is pretty eclectic. I'll give anything a shot that isn't techno, rap, or heavy metal. Oh and Andrea, I am also a huge showtunes fan! Musical movies, shows, whatever... I'm all over it.

by the way, i totally love musicals AND rap, and am willing to be judged for that. i love everything. i used to hate bluegrass, until i allowed myself to actually experience it, and now i love it.

What's wrong with loving musicals AND rap? I love musicals. And rap is easy and fun to dance to, and anything I can dance to works for me.

EXACTLY! absolutely nothing is wrong with liking musicals and rap!! but people often question my sincerity about music i like when i list the two together, so i was just going on the record, that i like them, and that's that.

Silly people guestioning your sincerity. I feel true music lovers love it all, or at least respect all music.

I consider myself a true music lover, but I certainly don't love all music. Like you said though, I respect the creation of it, and I don't judge someone by the music they listen to. Music speaks to everyone in different ways, and if you feel it, then you feel it, and no one should be able to take that away from you or judge you by it.

Yeah, I know. I don't really love it all, either. But there's not much that I dislike. That you don't judge people means a lot, too. That's good.
